October 23, 2026 – My main beef with the Catholic priest brotherhood is Ontario is their collusion with police to do an illegal search on me, and probably others, as far back as 2016. Fr David Roche from Holy Family Church in early 2020, just after the lockdowns started, escorted me into an inner courtyard for one of our semi-regular Saturday RCIA remediation conversations. He started with, “Masturbation. I didn’t know it was wrong when I was a boy.” Next was “So how’s is going with Fr Devereaux?” and then he smiled at me.
This is how priests protect each other. This is how DARVO is successful in the all-male Church. And no, I don’t fantasize about priests.
I think back to interactions with Peterborough Vice-Chancellor Robyn Henighan and how she criticized my Buddhist meditation experience and said it was pagan. She told me, “this has happened before” in reference to her friend, Joseph Devereaux and when I tried to ask what on Earth she was talking about, she just stared at me. Devereaux was investigated in early 2018 by then Vicar General Joe Moran and told to circle back and complete my initiation. Devereaux instead talked in circles for a few minutes calling himself Father four or fives times, mocked Jesus in the Eucharist and then hung up on me. Henighan (Vice-Chancellor) was at a meeting with Deirdre Thomas and I in 2019 where Thomas told me Devereaux had been investigated and what he was told to do, and was aware that Devereaux (Chancellor) had been found at fault in an investigation she was involved in!
Henighan sent me pages about how I was a lowly maid who influenced a Bishop, and then another page about how if I should be more honest, right after the Vicar General’s investigation. In other words, she is a flake. Catholic women are patted on the head by the Daddies for acting like a good l’il girl, but, in the case of Henighan, she actually ended up causing two priests to be demoted, cancelled and one was laicized.
An adult woman in the role of Vice-Chancellor wouldn’t have allowed the situation to end in disaster.
Even now, priests and Bishops want to protect her and Thomas from criminal consequences that ended the career and almost the life of a new Catholic they KNEW had been mistreated.
I don’t think the world needs imbecilic, submissive Catholic women. The world needs adult women to act like adult women, not l’il girls.
This is why the Catholic needs women deacons. Loving, but able to be tough when necessary. Compassionate, but fair and just. Feminine, with a mother’s strength to protect the young, the weak, the marginalized, the orphans, the elderly, the poor. Properly educated and able to instruct Catholic women and girls on the teachings of the Church, in a dignified manner independent from addled, biased, self-serving “instruction” from priests or husbands.
Not flaky, confused girl-women who for centuries have allowed themselves and children to be physically, emotionally, socially and sexually mistreated out of fear and deference.
